they might be giants

German farmer Karl breeds giant rabbits. The biggest one, huge even by its breed's standards, weighs in at 22lb. I am sure that bunny can carry one big basket filled with eggs.

Tomorrow we will be leaving for Thailand. Neither of us is looking forward to the flight. 10+ hours cramped into a seat like sardines in a can...ugh. If all goes well and we survive this trip through hell AND we come out at the other end (of the world-literally) unscathed, we will get to Phuket at 5am local time on Saturday.

We will then jump into a cab, arrive at our destination, jump into the shower and head to the pool, where we will most likely remain for the rest of the day until we think the heat is somewhat bearable.

Our arrival also coincides with Songkran, the Thai New Year. What makes it so special is the way the Thais celebrate it. I quote this passage from Wikipedia:

"The most obvious celebration of Songkran is the throwing of water. People
roam the streets with containers of water or water guns, or post themselves
at the side of roads with a garden hose and drench each other and passersby."

Sounds like fun, fun, fun.

I will keep you posted.

Happy Easter everyone.

At least you'll get water thrown on you (possibly) in a place where it's already hot, right? :)

I hope you two have a fabulous time and get some good romance (well, you know what I mean! LOL) and relaxation. I will miss you terribly! Have a safe trip!
