Oktoberfest Madness

I am not sure anyone noticed my absence but I have been to the Oktoberfest which kicked off on Saturday and will go on for exactly 16 days. My parents came down to visit us and my Mom uttered the words "I want to go and see what the Oktoberfest is all about". Having been to the Oktoberfest a couple of years ago I was hesitant to repeat the experience. But how do you refuse the woman who has given you life and so much love to go and see it? You don't. So we all went into town along with millions and millions of people who all had one goal. Drink until they couldn't drink anymore. Party until they can't party anymore. Eat until they can't eat anymore and go on the rides until they are puking up what they drank and ate.


We got there about three hours after the opening ceremony and already people were being carried off absolutely shit-faced on stretchers. The weather was brilliant. The sun was beating down and we were beat after about three hours. Thinking if I should go again and enjoy the madness that is the Oktoberfest anytime soon :)
