Random thoughts

Another week over and we're already well into February. Is it just me or does time fly by faster the older you get? When we finally retire is a day going to seem like an hour to us? Is that why most old folks only "need" four hours of sleep? So they can make something of the day that passes in a jiffy? It looks as though Einstein's theory of relativity takes effect then huh?

Funny thing is that no matter where I go, certain things seem true for elderly folks. The older they get the less sleep they need, the higher their waistlines go, the lighter the color of their shoes get.

Totally off topic but February does not seem like a busy blogging month. Well at least not for me anyway. I noticed that people have become really "quiet". Nothing much exciting is happening and everybody's mentally preparing for spring.

Personally I'd like to get away from it all. Going someplace nice, somewhere without a newspaper or television or online news. No more election campaigns, no more
war coverage, no more Britney drama. Just white sand, warm water and some sun.

I do have an appointment with a new hairdresser. This is going to be interesting as well as necessary. I look as though a racoon craweld on top of my head and then died.

Other news are just as exciting but can't be shared at the moment. Counting down the days until my best friend comes to visit me from Dublin. The sun's out and it is Friday. Life's good.

So they cover the elections and Britney over there too? I wonder if it is as ridiculous as it is over here.

What are you thinking about doing to the racoon on top your head? ha ha.

@ not so perfect Yes the elections are covered obcessively. You'd think we're about to elect a presidential candidate and Britney well she's all over the news here as well (apart from that I do watch English channels and read several English speaking news websites *lol*)

The racoon will definitely be getting a dye job and it's fur will probably be chopped. Possibly a few inches. I am not sure yet :)

I meant "its" fur..

I can't wait to get away to Jamaica next month, I am sick of the snow and cold weather, not to mention the news....ugh!
Good luck with the hairdresser, I'm going in for a "tune-up" myself this weekend, I am looking like a banshee these days!

I think it the depth of winter and it weighs on people. I was in "fetal position in front of the TV" mode all week! I am not even that into TV. The sun finally came out and the temps got above freezing so I got recharged today!

i am having a Cat Tournament where you can win $32! The first 32 cats will be entered in the contest. There are already 13 entries, so hurry to enter if you would like to participate! Go to www.wozog.com read all about the details. Basically, all you have to do is submit your best photo, making sure that you have your hand giving a "thumbs up" in the photo. It will be lots of fun! Enter as soon as you can, and good luck!

Time does go by too fast and it makes me feel old to say that because when I was younger I never thought that way. February has been slow on my blog too ... not so much slow in life though. I need a vacation to get away from all of the craziness.

Good luck with the new hairdresser. It's always scary to make the change!

Ugh I totally am having blog-farts this month, I feel like I have nothing worth writing about. And then when I do, I get few comments so that kind-of solidifys my assumption.
