Shout out to the hubby who is in a land far far away

First of all I want to shout out to my blog friend Melissa from Hope for the Hopeless who awarded me and my "evil" (not really) American twin sis and a bunch of other really cool blog friends with this wonderful award

Thank you Melissa, I feel truly honored. A couple of month down the road and I can't even begin to explain how happy it makes me and how surprised I still am to see that people come to read my blog. Some of you may have noticed that I am off for a little vacation. With the hubby gone away on business in the US for another two weeks I thought I might go and spend a few days with my parents. We've been having a great time so far. I will also make a stopover in the city where I went to University. This is going to be a major trip down memory lane. I've only been there once since I left University in 2002 and last time I didn't really get around that much because I was on crutches and walking was very painful.

Now the hubby is enjoying the good life in Seattle while we are being hit by desastrous weather. It seems everytime I am at my parents place it is snowing. Dreadful really. I was ready for spring now. I guess "Be careful what you wish for" still applies huh? So go ahead and point your accusing fingers at me ;o). I am sure you all remember how I was practically begging for snow (I should have said back then that I wanted it asap and not in April).
