Awesome my two men are building a new scratching post for our cats. That thing is so sturdy we won't be able to take it apart anymore. Ever.
Simultaneously we're watching a show that is a real trip down memory lane. A show about events and tv shows in the year 1995. That was the year I graduated from High School. One of the best years of my life. Soooo much fun. The music. Some of it I am still listening to today.
Live's 'Lightning Crashes', 'Wonderwall' by Oasis or Green Day's "When I come around' are still on my iPods playlist. It was the year of the Spice girls, Michael Jackson, Coolio and Alanis Morissette.
OMG I would love to do a more in-depth post but this must suffice because I simply got to get back to watching the show as I don't want to miss a minute of this.
What were you doing in 1995?

In 1995 I'd been working for a couple of years, and I think that would be about the time I got a part-time job as a barman, since I was spending most of my evenings in there and thought I might as well make some money (and drink less)...
Personally, I'm not into nostalgia. I think as time goes on I become a (hopefully) wiser and better person, so I wouldn't want to turn back the clock...
I graduated in '95, too. "Wonderwall" and "When I come around" are great songs. I watch the video to that Green Day song on youtube often. It's creepy.
I still love those songs. it is always funf thinking of great memories. 95...only my second year in high school. As far as I can remember off the top of my head without digging, I really enjoyed that year.
Um, giving birth to a 9 lb. 11 oz. boy. :)
LOL, Melisa! I was marrying Joe. It was a red letter year for us Melis(s)a's. :)
I was a sophomore in college and Lightening Crashes and Wonderwall are THE 2 songs that most remind me of that year.
How funny! I hear Wonderwall the other day on the radio and it instantly took me back.
1995: The Year of the Melis(s)a's.
I graduated a year after you, but let me say that Wonderwall was what set off my obsession with Oasis, thus - ended up with me naming my first born Liam!
1995 was the year my big brother/best friend graduated and joined the Army. Ironically without him doing that I never would have met my life sized GI Joe and had these two naughty little boys. I was ending my 10th grade year when he graduated. It was a good year and that summer I had way too much fun!
