After finishing this pile of books in early May

I was happy to receive fresh supplies yesterday.

I must say that from the May pile I especially loved Hummeldumm, a truly hilarious book by German author Tommy Jaud, which I have read in less than two days and Mil Millington’s “Things My Girlfriend and I Have Argued About.” What a laugh. Both books were hilarious and just the right thing and “pick-me-up” during the dreary, rainy May.

In June I am particularly looking forward to “Du sollst nicht l├╝gen” in which the author has given up lying for lent. Also cannot wait for Jen Lancaster’s “Pretty in Plaid”. Her books are very entertaining. I hear great things about “The Emperor’s Children” so let’s hope it doesn’t disappoint.

What are you reading at the moment?

I need to make some organized books piles. I've been a little haphazard about my reading.

Right now I'm reading the second Steig Larrson book - The Girl Who Played With FIre. The first one (The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo) was very good mystery.

Tara Oh I loved, loved, loved the Millenium Trilogy. Though I still think the first book is the best...the third one isn't too bad either. You're going to love it. Enjoy the second one.

I've just finished "The Net", a murder thriller by Argiris Pavliotis, and I'm about to start "The man who watched the trains go past" by Georges Simenon. I've no idea what the Simenon book's about (there was quite a lot of variation in the kind of things he wrote). I try to avoid reading the synopsis on the back as they often give too much away.

I was fortunate enough to connect with a group of Latina bloggers that hooked me up with a book to review on my blog. It's called Tattoos on the Heart written by a Priest in Los Angeles working with gang members to get out of that life. It's more spiritual than I would have thought and it iskind of giving me direction on my view of things...all through their story. It's so interesting I can't wait to finish it and I hope my words will do it justice.
