While I was away on business yesterday, which served as a nice change and beat sitting in the office when it is raining buckets, I am glad to be back today. Even more so as Fridays tend to have this special touch. Everyone is a tad more friendly and so looking forward to the weekend. We usually have the best laughs on a Friday when everyone is so much more relaxed. None of the “cut the tension with a knife” stuff going on. Just anticipation kinda like a kid on Christmas Eve. Oh how I can’t wait to sleep in and hang out with the hubby before he has to go away for one week on business as well.
It will be the first week we will be apart since we got married eight months ago. This is going to be so weird because I really appreciate him as a lover, best friend, companion, confidant and I am going to miss him the minute he gets on that plane and will only stop missing him when I see his big smile in the airport.
Since I have touched the X-mas topic already I may as well share this with you. On 30th August I have been to the local supermarket. You may think “so what”? The reason why I remember doing my shopping on that particular day is because they already had Christmas stuff in their shelves. Gingerbread and chocolate figures … I thought I was dreaming. Okay it was the end of August but people, Christmas is still another good four months away. How are you supposed to get into the holiday mood when the shops have stuff on display in summer. I mean really. By December I will be fed up with it and there’s really not much left to look forward to. Anyone seen any Christmas stuff in the shops where you live yet?

I saw few shops at 1 mall here who are starting to sell Christmas stuffs as well as put some Christmas decorations. Maybe because the "ber" months are already here. I don't expect much decors yet til about October.
Hi Kat,
Thanks for the words of encouragement on my blog. You were right the training went better than I had hoped for.
I hope your week will fly by and your hubby will be back quick from his business trip. Congrats on being a newlywed. I have to keep reading your blog. I hope you have pictures.
Yes, here in NY we start to celebrate Xmas in August, it's the month when the new tree ornaments come out. One store in the mall has a Xmas section up...it's weird!
It seemd like you aren't a TOm Brady fan! I love it! Have a great weekend!
I saw some Xmas stuff too and ran away shrieking..."Too Early!!"
Enjoy your time apart, absence makes the heart grow fonder.
I am so with you on this one. I HATE that they are pushing the holidays more and more now...the trouble is, people are buying it! If everyone left the things alone, the stores wouldn't want to stock them...ugh.
