My husband said to me last night that a translation of the note would have been a good idea but I didn't listen. Okay I admit I was lazy. So here it goes. The lovely note reads:
Happy 11 month anniversary. You make me the happiest person on the planet and I love you to the moon and back…Your husband
When we picked our wedding rings we were thinking of what we would want to have engraved. We didn't plan on having a traditional wedding nor were the circumstances of how we met traditional. One night my hubby read this cute book to me "Guess how much I love you".
Little nutbrown hare tries to explain to big nutbrown hare how much he loves him but love is hard to measure. In the end little nutbrown hare gets tired and says "I love you to the moon" and then falls asleep because it is sooo tired from explaining and big nutbrown hare answers "...and back".
That's what we had engraved into our wedding rings. Mine reads "I love you to the moon" and my hubby's reads "...and back".
I would also like to thank everyone for their awesome comments. It has been a pleasure reading them.
Melisa - it is good to see that you could translate the note. Good practice for when you come over here ;o) and Robert he wouldn't dare eating my chocolate. He knows better than to mess around with my sweets hehe.
Lindz I am sure Josh would find that a neat idea. Maybe next year. You've got a lot on your plate as it is already this year.
Pocklock, what a coincidence. Happy belated anniversary. Taj, thank you. It keeps getting better? If it does I am going to explode.
Airam, I agree and for the translation..there you go. Mags, you are so sweet. Thanks and I hope we can keep this up. We are definitely working on it.
Uncommon blonde, except for one year I always had an advent calendar. Somehow I can't seem to do without them hehe. Thank you. J, I will let my hubby know. All your praises will make him float on a cloud tonight I am sure.
Patty, it is indeed and it made me very happy.
