Well at least this story managed to brighten my mood. "Woman pulls gun in shoe spat". I do like my home clean. I enjoy living in a clean house and I do ask my guests to take their shoes off when they intend to stay longer.
However I would never threaten two furniture delivery guys with a gun if they refuse to take off their shoes. That I am just not anal enough to pull off. Apart from the fact that I would never pull a gun on anyone, which would require me to have a gun in the first place. But I digress.
Anyway the lady wanted the guys to take their shoes off. Their company policy says you can't take 'em off but they were wearing protective overshoes. The lady was afraid of carpet damage, she saw red and the rest is history. LOL. Nuts

Wow, who knew wearing shoes would evoke such passion! Sounds like this lady needs to be disarmed!!
That lady sounds a little crazy however I might threaten someone who invites me to a party and asks me to remove my shoes - my shoes were chosen to compliment my outfit and that is SACRED!
I take my shoes off at my parents house, but at my house? Ehhhh... the carpet just isn't that nice.
