Weight! That sh*t weighs heavy

If you’re not a geek or into reading science-fiction you are probably not aware of the “Laws of Robotics” that scientist and science-fiction author Isaac Asimov introduced in 1942. One of them precludes robots from injuring a human:

"A robot may not injure a human being, or through inaction, allow a human being
to come to harm."

So far so good. Military aside the law is still accepted today.

Now London based designer Alice Wang came to the conclusion that the showing of your weight on a scale is cruel and actually breaks Asimov’s law. Y e a h. Ahem – nice thinking.

Anywho the whole world is now talking about Mrs.Wang’s new concept device scales. Her three scales (white lies, half-truth and open secrets) were designed not to harm a human being. They either require another person to tell you the weight or the scales are lying to you in the first place or they will send the weight to someone else’s cell phone.
