Soooo I guess the picture of our cat/burrito will not tide me over forever. I’m gonna lose readers faster than I can say ‘dog lover’ if I don’t update this blog with some real content. It’s just, well let’s say busy and when I am no longer busy and my big behind finally hits the bed – well that was it for me.
I have neither managed to upload some of our honeymoon photos nor have I managed to thank my lovely ‘evil twin’ for the wonderful and thoughtful birthday gifts she sent. The truth is, I have a new job starting today. Still with my old company but with new scope and task but full time and permanently. Needless to say I am thrilled.
The weather’s been shiteous for the last couple of days but the leaves are really bright and colorful and if it wasn’t so cold and windy it would be really enjoyable. So in honor of our stay in Thailand I thought a nice spicy curry would warm us up. So I nipped out during my lunch break to buy red chilis, lemon grass, thai basil or ‘the soap like tasting herb’ as it has been referred to by the hubby, Thai eggplant, chicken and coconut milk. I cannot wait. Paired with deliciously fragrant Jasmine rice this is my new favorite comfort food.
While out and about I noticed quite a few men and woman heading to the Oktoberfest in Lederhosen and short Dirndl’n in 53°F weather. Brrrr.
Anyway I will return to regular blogging asap because let’s face it…I really miss it.

Yay for the new job scope! Though...I can't figure out if you are really thrilled or you were being sarcastic. So, if you are really thrilled, I am too. If you are being sarcastic well...good luck. ;)
YUM to your curry. That's one of my most favorite things in the world to eat. Oh how delicious. I sometimes make that with shrimp too-and muscles too. Oh how I wish I was your neighbor today!
It can be hard to prioritize what needs to get sdone sometimes! i would have given you one more day on the cat burrito!! :)
Mags I was really thrilled. It's just that it happened so fast and all within the same week. I just think I am exhausted.
Thanks for being excited for me though.
Paper propaganda Hehe appreciate that but my photographer skills (especially with a cell phone) are nowhere near yours to justify that ;) Thanks for the heads up though.
Congrats on the job. What a great feeling. Hope the dinner turned out well!
And we really miss you...glad your back.
And good luck with the new job!
I think starting a job constitutes a reasonable excuse for taking your eye off the blogging a bit. I hope it goes well.
