Ouch!

Realized that lately I'm spending a lot of time in the bathroom. Not that I'm sick. The time spent on the porcelain throne increases proportionally to the amount of books hoarded in the immediate area. For entertainment purposes the hubby and I keep a box full of books, comics and old Nintendo games nex to the loo.

Read so long this morning that my legs fell asleep and I almost fell when getting up.

Imagine explaining that to your boss.

Welcome to week four of 2009.

Did I just read you say "Old Nintendo games"? Thank goodness there are none of those in my bathroom, my husband would never come out! :)

Kat, you are so funny. You seem to have all kinds of issues related to bathrooms. LOL

I hope your legs didn't take too long to wake up!

(read any good books lately? :) )

Danielle A. Yep that's right. Those sleepy legs are also due to endless sessions of Tetris, Super Mario Land...you name it we got it.

Melisa OMG you're right. Haha yeah but it is mostly the loo in work that's out to get me ;)

Haha "old Nintendo games" that is just a little TMI. I hate when the legs fall asleep. It is funny though when the husband does it.He sits there so long he has probably read a whole book and when he gets up he almost falls and can't walk. Hahaha

SgtSudsWife TMI indeed ;). Glad to hear we're not the only ones that have a "reading room" - we don't want to call it a library. Yet.

...and the only reason for that is the fact that all those books could be damaged while are a having a "waterfight" in our old bathroom / Libary...

Greetings to all, special greets to Melisa with one s.

Her Hubby.

I expect if you explain to your boss that you were late because had to spend a lot of time in the bathroom, he or she won't ask too many questions...

OMG. You have Tetris in your bathroom? Yeah. I'd never leave either.

I just had some super hot imagery of you falling off mid...anyway.

I attach various clippings of interest from the newspaper to the bathroom wall, and end up reading them over and over again - I really must invest in putting something more readable in there. Again, if there were Tetris, I'd be lost to civilization.

You know, you CAN read in places other than the bathroom. LOL! I know what you mean though. When I get caught up in a good read, I'm not going to be in a hurry to be on my way either.

Brian Totally worth a shot the next time. If the boss doesn't ask questions it would mean an entire day of reading :)

Mags Tetris rocks. Still as addictive as when I first started playing it.

Katie You have newspaper clippings in your bathroom? Heck I'd never leave either.

Terri Yeah you're right of course but none of the other rooms have underfloor heating ;)
