our house in the middle of our street

Somehow the days just fly by and it seems I'm not getting anything done, when in fact I am. I consider myself lucky. One thing is for certain though. Next year I will NOT have a month long vacation in the first half of the year because now? The outlook for the second half is grim.

Last night we finally managed to buy a new WLAN router and believe it or not, the internets have returned to casa de Kat.

Also we are still pondering whether to buy a house (very expensive), build a house (very, very, very expensive), buy an apartment (expensive) or continue to rent our current apartment (affordable).

So we went to see the second place. It was an apartment roughly the size of our current apartment. Maybe even bigger. It had a big, beautiful kitchen (that I wanted to move into immediately) as well as a wonderful bathroom. As it was a groundfloor apartment the living room lead out onto a porch and the backyard. We wont buy it though. So the search will continue but thank God we're in no rush at all.

Definitely take your time. It's a huge investment. You want to make sure it's really what you want and like. Good luck!!

I hope you find something at some point - it's nice not to be in a hurry.
