random thoughts on a random tuesday

Just some random thoughts today because my mind is all over the place lately. In Hamburg several luxury cars went up in flames for the second night in a row. This is nothing unusual for Berlin. Cars go up in flames almost every day there. Insurance companies won't insure your car if you live in the capital or if they do it'll cost you an arm and a leg. Anywho, the chief dude in Hamburg came out saying the car owners were partly to blame because they parked their luxury cars in the streets. Ahem so when I run this Dude over with my luxury car on purpose, do I get away with it by saying he is partially to blame because he was walking down the street? I mean where else is he supposed to walk?

Even if you were loaded that doesn't mean you have a garage in a big city like Hamburg. Or -imagine that - you could be visiting someone. I was just a l i t t l e ticked off by this eejit's comment.

On a lighter note, I almost laughed my head off reading this facebook status over at lamebook. I am still laughing. If there’s anyone out there who can relate (because I certainly have not had this happen to me) I would love to hear your story…facebook

Sometimes I am having a hard time believing what people would post and divulge on social networking sites.

Tonight or rather early tomorrow morning I will hopefully be reunited with my husband again. It’s been weird spending so much time apart since July really. Once he’s back, project  “buying a house” will move forward. Exciting? Hell yeah.

I'm so glad you'll get to see hubby again!

And yes, yes...on with buying a house! I'd like my room decorated in blues and browns, please. ;)

That Facebook exchange is a bit disturbing, but guess that's why I don't have a FB account. Ewwww

Good luck with the house hunting!

It's like saying people are to blame when they get robbed because they left a door unlocked, or didn't have the place secured and alarmed like Fort Knox. It's a sad world we live in when we can't trust each other.

I hope your husband managed to avoid getting turned into one of those limbering mummies...

All the best finding your dream house.

Tara R. Isn't it. Though I must admit that I still find it hilarious. Must be infantile :)

Brian Exactly. Also, would that make it ok to burn down the cars of the "lesser" people? I just hope they find the dude's car and burn it down. That'll teach him. Ok that was a bit harsh but somehow this upsets me.

The facebook exchange is quite possibly the funniest thing I have ever read!
