The guys of my favorite breakfast show on the radio conducted a funny survey. They asked what side of the bed you preferrably sleep on. Apparently if you sleep on the right you are the boss in the relationship. However this doesn't seem to apply to left-handed people.
I am sleeping on the left side as apparently does the majority of women. When I first met the guy now known as my husband he would sleep on the right side of the bed next to the window in his house and when we were at my place I would sleep on the left side of my bed, which incidentally was also the window side. It seems we are somehow drawn by windows :).
Now I sleep on the left side again though the window is on the right hand side. The husband has it a bit more difficult to get up due to the pitch of the roof.
What side of the bed do you sleep on? Poll is now open. Misguided Mommy was so kind to remind me that we need to agree on how to distinguish the side of the bed. Either when you stand in front looking at the bed or when you are in it. So for the poll please imagine you are in it. Most of the time this is the more pleasant thought anyway :).

okay wait...do you mean the right side when you are looking at the bed or the right side when you are in the bed????
Good question misguided mommy. I meant when you are in the bed. Thanks for the hint, I will update the post. I also realised I should bring up the gender question so we can distinguish if it is true that men mostly occupy the right side of the bed :)
As a single girl I sleep on the right but if ever I have "company" I'm still on the right side. I guess that makes me a 'The boss'. I can sooo live with that! LOL!

I share 1 bed w/ my sister right now, and I always like being on the left side. When I had my own bed way back at my mom's house, I did sleep like a starfish hahahaha
I do indeed sleep on the left side of the bed, though I'd also say I'm the dominant one in my marriage...!
