Who am I?

The lovely candle holder Elaine got us as a belated wedding gift. It is simply gorgeous. We put it on the table straight away.(Here we were just setting the table for our lovely Sunday brunch).

Maunzerl watches on as the humans play silly games.

Lilly meanwhile is just trying to look really cute and checking how comfy the new guestbed is.

First a few rounds of "Who am I" to warm up...

... followed by a game of grown up ludo. Whoever got kicked out had to drink a shot of vodka.

Elaine and me

P.S. Since Patty asked what "Who am I" is. It is best played with at least four people. One person writes down the names of a famous person on a sticky note and the other players have to stick that to their foreheads without looking at it.

Then they have to guess who they are by asking questions i.e. Am I an actress? Am I blonde? etc. You may continue to ask until the answer is no. Then it is the next persons turn. It is quite funny and a highly recommended game to get the party started :)

Gorgeous candle holder! Your friend has great taste.

Umm am I the only loser who doesn't know what "who am i" is?

Don't worry Patty, you're no loser. I just learned the game myself last December at a party. It's pretty fun! (But we attach the famous names to our backs with safety pins.) It's one of those games where it's best to have a glass of wine or something first, especially if there are people at the party who think the game sounds dumb. :)

Kat, what a great time! The photo of you and your friend is terrific. You should frame it!

That's totally a game I make my students play in Spanish class, they have to use fun Spanish words that way... I have to admit it isn't quite the same without the booze.

Oh my goodness - that sounds like so much fun and now I wanna play it. Vodka might help, I'm sure. :)

Love your taste in decor... where did you get that killer lamp (in the corner in the first photo)? I love it!

I meant to write the lamp in the first photo of Elaine (with the post-it on her head). :)
