Cleo yodels

You probably remember this funny video of the Engineer's guide to cats and how they made their cats yodel.

I did try it with both of our cats. While Lilly tried to bite my neck (she hates being picked up)~ hey you can't just pick up Her Royal Highness, she didn't utter a single sound. Yes she despises us when we pick her up. She would also rather gnaw her paws off if it meant we'd leave her alone then.

Maunzerl on the other hand doesn't mind being picked up, only she wiggles like a nutcase (she also doesn't stay still when she wants to be petted). So I pick her up and all she does is she starts purring loudly.

Now Katie over at Made in Melbourne got her little cutie Cleo to yodel, check it out. The look on Cleo's face is priceless.

Your cat is cute! I, too, am a cat lover. But how do you get them to yodel?? It looks like you are tickeling them or something...
Have a great day!

Kim - This is Katie's cat and I have no idea how she gets her to yodel because my two cats are evil and I have tried but I can't get them to yodel :) Maybe Katie can give us another hint on how she managed to make Cleo yodel. LOL

If you must know my secret, I taunted her with a tin of tuna slightly off camera, and made her growl for her dinner, then it's a simple matter of rubbing her belly/jiggling her all about to get the frequency.

I spent way too much time working it all out, clearly.

Corporal kissing, as demonstrated in the engineers guide to cats also works a treat.

(please note: I lost a lot of blood the first few times I tried).
