I Can Already Hear the Hubby Gasp

One should think with the hubby always being on the move he should be able to deal well with change but apparently he doesn't. At least not when it comes to my blog layout.

If you're not reading this in a reader you may have noticed that the design has changed once again. I needed something different and what is easier than changing your blog's design? Well the hubby isn't easy to please when it comes to the design. It's either too girly, too colorful, too stuffed... it's just not right because, well because it is not the old design.

This time I have decided to redesign without asking his advice. He's away and when he gets back he can check it and I can already hear him say "I don't really feel it. It's okay but not great."

Ok given, this design isn't great and it will surely not win a prize for being the most innovative. Important is that I l ike it and I just wanted a clean cut easy to read design without too big of a disctraction. Funny thing is though when I will no doubt have a different design a few months from now, the hubby will say "but I liked the old design much better." He's just awesome and I mean that in the most sincere way.

This is her hubby, and she is right. I don't really feel it. It's okay but not the way i would have designed it. For example I would have choosen a diffrent colour for the letters, but anyway, as long as she likes it I will survive, and bye the way? Who should listen to a person who failed ART-Class in highschool with a F as final grade? (I have to admit that the grade came mostly from my discussions with my art teacher, and not from my work. Somehow i was never able to agree to something she had said.. :) )...

Anyway, to everyone else: Feel free to express your self, looking forward to read your comments...

Maybe he'll surprise you and love it. I looked again at your header and was thinking that the color blue/teal that you used for your lettering looks REALLY good with browns, too.

(At least here in the U.S., a blue/brown combo is really popular right now, like in bedding and stuff like that)

Ha ha hubby,
We were typing at the same time! I guess Kat knows you pretty well. Good thing, huh! (and how exactly could you fail ART? LOL)

Have a good weekend, you two!

Simple, understated, easy to ready. A bit gray for me, but as long as you don't change your writing style I'll keep visiting. (And... changing your blog is a lot cheaper than changing your hair. ;) ).

Melissa Yeah it is a bit on the simple side but just what I needed for a change. Glad you like it.

Danielle I liked the thought of understatement but now that you and Melisa mentioned it I may introduce some color shortly. Thanks for coming back ;) Always happy when you're visiting.

It is very simple and clean-I like it. On my computer it looks like a purpley gray...Truth be told, my favorite of yours was the first one I ever say-it was green with white flowers, I think.

But I like how easy this is to read!!

Well, now I'm struggling to remember how it was before. The main mistake people make is doing something that's hard to read, usually with bad choices of colours. The new design doesn't make this mistake, so I think it's fine...
