Happy Valentine's Day

Lately Thursday has become the day I look forward to the most because it is the day that the hubby gets home from working out of town. Incidentally Valentine's Day falls on a Thursday this year and even though we are not into celebrating Valentine's Day, it was special.

We had agreed not to give each other presents not even a "little something". I kept my part of the agreement. However the hubby didn't. He had taken my bracelet that I hold so dear. It is just cheap costume jewelry but he went out to buy me a matching necklace and earrings.

The bag already indicated he shopped at a store I really love

Red is currently my favorite color

I really heart the hubby and the jewelery

The sneaky little bunny. Ok I did feel bad because I had nothing for him but I did however run out to the store and bought all the ingredients for his favorite meal. We just had a lovely dinner and am now sitting on the couch and he gets to watch a soccer game.

A very HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY to all of you!

Awwww, that's sweet.
I'm with ya on not loving V-Day; my Hub and I keep it very simple with little surprises. Not playing into the commercialism of it all.

Come to think of it I'm getting hungry and he's making me dinner...time to sweetly find out when dinner will be...

Beautiful jewelry and what a sweet hubby.

I am really into red too.

LOVE the jewelry. I rarely wear red because I think it brings out the blotchy imperfections in my skin, but I did break out my one red sweater yesterday in honor of the holiday! I must say, your jewelry would've matched perfectly! :-)
